The texts, graphic elements, page structure, short tests and source code of this website are a work of authorship of IOSEC Slovakia s. r. o., unless stated otherwise for a particular element.
In the Slovak Republic, protection follows from Act No. 185/2015 Coll., the Copyright Act.
What you may do without asking
We are a consultancy, not a publisher — we write the content so that it gets used.
You may quote individual passages in articles, presentations, internal materials and on social networks, provided you name the source and link to the original page. The extent of a quotation should match its purpose — a shorter excerpt with a link, not a whole chapter.
You may link to any page of this website without asking.
You may use our materials inside your own organisation for training purposes, provided you keep the attribution.
What not
Taking over whole texts for another website, a publication or an offer without written consent. This also covers rewriting in your own words in a way that produces a derived text with the same structure and argument.
Use for machine learning — that is, for training or fine-tuning artificial intelligence models — without written consent.
Use of our materials in a third party's commercial offer, including the documentation templates and methodological procedures we publish on this website.

Short tests are not legal advice
On some pages you will find tests that, after a few questions, show what probably applies to you.
Their result is indicative. It is based on the answers you give and on a simplified model of the rules. It does not take into account the particulars of your organisation, contractual relationships, exemptions or the decision-making practice of authorities.
It does not replace a legal assessment or a decision of the competent authority. The result of a test is an input to a conversation, not a conclusion.
The tests run only in your browser. Your answers are not sent to a server unless you send them to us yourself with an enquiry.

We give figures, deadlines, thresholds and sanctions with the date they were verified and a link to the primary source. Legislation changes — and in this field it changes often. Before a decision with financial or legal consequences, check the current wording in the official collection of laws of the country concerned or in the Official Journal of the European Union.
